z When you switch off the printer, you should wait for 5 seconds, do NOT

switch it back ON until all of operator panel indicators are turned off.

Failing to do so may damage the printer.

z Don’t touch the moving parts of printer while device is moving, in order to

prevent personnel injury or device damage.

z Moving the print head while the printer is ON may damage the printer or

cause scald. Furthermore, if you have just used the printer, the print head

may be hot; let it cool for a few minutes before touching it.

z Don’t drop metal objects into the printer (such as pin, staple, drawing pin

and etc).

z Do not spill liquid on the printer.

Installation Notices

z Place the printer on a sturdy, horizontal and stable surface.

z Your printer must not be exposed to direct sunlight, extreme heat, humidity

or dust.

z Don’t plug the printer to the outlet that is on the same circuit as large

motor or other high power consumption machines.

z Don’t place the printer in a place with strong magnetic field or caustic gas.

z The whole computer system should be kept away from electromagnetic

interference, such as loudspeaker or wireless telephone.
